Submission Guidelines

TheEmpowerers.com was founded in 2009 with a proven purpose to inspire, inform, motivate, and help people cope. The Empowerers will accept submissions on the following topics:

Disease, Weight Loss, Relationships, Dating, Divorce, Thought Provoking, Informative, Humor, Parenting, Forgiveness , Addiction, Love, Hope, Faith and many other topics of interest. The focus on content for this site is the positive results from life experiences. We are searching for writers that can write about negative experience but can keep it light, informative, and positive all at once.

* Articles or submissions where one is writing from a woe is me perspective will be rejected.

* Articles with improper grammar and punctuation will  be rejected particularly because there is still only one administrator and editor at this time. I will edit what I can, but please see submission guidelines below.

Guidelines

Writing tight is hard to do but in this day and age with so many websites out there and people leading such busy lives; it is imperative. Readers seldom want to read something extremely long and if they visit a site where the writer is rambling, they will hit that cute little X button on the top right side of our screen here, and probably not revisit.

1. Write Tight

2. No fluff

3. Submissions must flow with the websites theme.

4. Submissions should be free of grammatical errors.

5. Each paragraph becomes a new thought on the same subject.

6. The first sentence of each paragraph should tell speed readers and editors everything the article is about.

7. A paragraph should contain a minimum of three sentences.

8. Proper punctuation is crucial.

9. No comma splices.

10. No starting multiple sentences with “And” “Then” or “But”.

9. Writers must know the difference between “There” Their” and They’re”.

10. No caps please. Words written in all capital letters are offensive to most readers. They feel they are being talked down to, or yelled at. Use the Italics option and add bold if you want to really emphasize a point.

11. Absolutely no profanity. This site is for readers of all ages, shapes, sizes, and mindsets. We have to keep it clear from profanity.

12. Original writing only! I hate it when people steal my work and take credit therefor I will be cautious that writers selected do not steal someone else’s work. Originality is what has built our reader base and it is one of the most common compliments we get on this website. People love the insight they gain, and that it is fresh and original content.

If you can handle all of the above, send submissions to angelabininger@gmail.com
